Admissions
Enrolling your child at Maple Ridge
We enroll students who live within the Maple Ridge attendance zone, plus a limited number of transfer students each year. Here's exactly how the process works.
The process
Four steps to enroll
-
Confirm your attendance zone
Check your home address against the district boundary map, or call the office and we'll check it for you in under a minute.
-
Complete the enrollment form
Fill out the district enrollment packet (available at the office or by mail) with your child's name, birth date, and home address.
-
Bring your documents
Proof of address, your child's birth certificate, and up-to-date immunization records. Bring copies — we'll make them for you if needed.
-
Meet your teacher
Once enrollment is confirmed, we'll invite you to a welcome visit so your child can meet their teacher before the first day.

Questions
Frequently asked
What if we live outside the attendance zone?
You can still apply as a transfer student starting May 1. Space depends on classroom capacity, and we'll let you know within two weeks of applying.
Do you offer before- and after-school care?
Yes — our partner program runs 7:00–7:45am and 3:15–6:00pm on campus. Ask the office for current rates and to join the waitlist.
My child has an IEP or 504 plan — what should I bring?
Bring the most recent plan and any evaluation reports. Our learning support coordinator will reach out within a week of enrollment to plan the transition.
Can I tour the school before enrolling?
Absolutely — we run tours every Tuesday at 9:00am during the school year. Call the office to reserve a spot.
Have a question we didn't answer?
The front office is happy to walk you through enrollment over the phone or in person.
